As a certified birth doula, I want to eliminate any fears around birth and increase confidence. Childbirth is the craziest adventure a woman can go through & preparation combined with support can truly change your birth experience in the best way! My philosophy centers around:

Advocating for the family’s wishes & ensuring the mother’s birth preferences are respected by the medical team. I work closely with the family to develop a personalized birth plan & help communicate their needs.

Utilizing evidence-based techniques to help manage pain & facilitate the natural progression of labor. This looks different for every woman as everyone needs something different & what helps one mama may not help another.

Educating & equipping expectant parents with knowledge about the birth process, common interventions, & postpartum recovery.

Maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental presence throughout the entire process. I am there to offer continuous support, encouragement, & celebration as a new life enters the world.

Prenatal Consultations

This is where we get to know one another & establish your birth plan. I will provide information and resources to support your informed decision-making and assess your lifestyle. This will enable us to identify areas for optimizing your pregnancy & birth experience. At this time, I will also answer any questions or fears you may have.

Labor Support

I will be your cheerleader & bff during your birth in any environment according to your birth plan! While you focus on letting your body do what it is supposed to do, my priority is supporting your informed decision-making, backing up your birth plan, & taking care of your needs to the best of my ability.

Immediate PP Support

Right after birth, I provide immediate postpartum support to help you process your birth in any way you need, even if it’s just expressing your feelings, concerns, joys, etc. I will also aid in physical comfort measures to help you recover from childbirth, as well as breastfeeding support & newborn care education.

A little about me...

I grew up right outside of Charlotte, NC in Mint Hill. I was homeschooled for the first half of my schooling and attended a small private school for the second half. Most of my childhood days were spent outside playing with my dog Jetter, practicing the piano, and acting out fake scenarios I imagined with my stuffed animals. I have a very vivid memory of being a little girl and poking my stomach out while standing in front of the mirror pretending to be pregnant. This may have been a foreshadowing of this path I have chosen!

I am a follower of Christ and love all things natural health. I married my sweet husband in 2022, and we are both involved in the music ministry at our church. I spend my free time experimenting with new recipes, selling skincare made from tallow, making candles, and more. I enjoy being outdoors and love thrifting with a little iced coffee in hand.
